Key requirements for SIS teachers:

• Bachelor of Education, Graduate Diploma in Education or appropriate teacher licence
• Degree in your teaching field
• Minimum of five years teaching experience
• 27 - 55 years of age
• Ability to be flexible and results oriented
• Understanding of and willingness to work with all school stakeholders
• Desire to actively participate in extra curricular activities, school development projects, community outreach programmes and other school activities
• Interest in working with students whose first language is not English
• Ability to work within a team.

Candidates should ideally have:

• Previous experience of working overseas
• Experience teaching IGCSE programmes
• Qualifications in teaching English as a Second Language
• Post-graduate qualification in your field of expertise
• Experience in curriculum development in your field of expertise
• Experience of pastoral duties

Teachers currently working in SIS include:

• Pre-School teachers trained in early childhood with Bachelor of Arts or Science Major in Early Childhood, Child Study, Developmental Psychology
• Primary (Elementary) school teachers who are qualified to teach English, Maths and Science
• Secondary (High School) teachers of all subjects (usually with experience in the IGCSE syllabus). Bachelor of Science in Sec. Ed. with Majors in Physics, Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry and Social Science
• Teachers of Cambridge International ’A’ level (Pre-University) subjects
• Specialist teachers of ESOL, Music, Arts, IT and Mandarin.

Positions are open to Indonesian and expatriate candidates.
